Real Madrid always spend money on that one big trasnfer every year, City, PSG and Monaco investing more and more money in buying best players, United are no longer that big player magnet club and they failed to spend big this year but how the best squads in europe are valued ? lets take a look

The three most valuable football clubs in the world, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester United are in the top 10 but who else makes the cut ? with oil rich owners investing money in football its interesting to see whether teams like PSG and City can keep up with the traditional big clubs.

#1. Real Madrid – Squad Value (£515m)

#2. FC Barcelona – Squad Value (£510m)

#3. Bayern Munich – Squad Value (£430m)

#4. Manchester City – Squad Value (£415m)

#5. Chelsea FC – Squad Value (£405m)

#6. Manchester United – Squad Value (£355m)

#7. Paris Saint Germain – Squad Value (£320m)

#8. Arsenal – Squad Value (£315m)

#9. Juventus – Squad Value (£310m)

#10. Tottenham Hotspurs – Squad Value (£280m)

Tottenham bought in 110 Million worth of talent last summer while Real madrid bought Bale for the most expensive transfer in world football. While PSG and Manchester City continued their buying power in the last summer transfer window. While Arsenal got the best bargain with Mesut Ozil coming at the last moment while teams like Milan, Juventus and Manchester United took a back seat and did not buy any high profile player.

European Champions bayern Munich strengthen their squad with Mario Gotze and Thiago in the summer window. and all the above valuation is taken from Transfermarket website.

Anyhow United are in midtable even though having a very expensive squad…look at Liverpool…low budget and majorities their players are unknown when the clubs bring them in…butt they are glooming very effectively…football is not about money…but determination!!!
