Wladimir Klitschko vs (Pulev or Stiverne) Fight Date Time

After getting the better of Alex Leapai in April 2014, Wladimir Klitschko is most likely to face unbeaten heavyweight prospect in Kubrat Pulev who stands at 6’4′ and will provide much better resistance to what Leapai could produced. Will this fight happen ? we are not sure yet but IBF has made him a mandatory fighter against whom Klitschko must fight or he will have the vacate the title.

But Klitschko does not seem eager to fight the bulgarian Kubrat Pulev who is the mandetory, instead he is looking for a unification bout against Bermane Stiverne. Wlad is hoping that “sanctioning bodies” will listen to his request and will try to make way for a fight against Stiverne instead of Pulev who according to Kltischko is too young and raw and he fears people will criticise him against for taking a fight against a fighter who is not in his league.

So what are the possibilities of next fight which is schedule to be on 6th September 2014 in Hamburg, Germany. Lets take a look at his 3 possible opponents.

Kubrat Pulev vs KlitschkoKubrat Pulev – IBF Mandatory Challenger

Kubrat Pulev is a young and hungry fighter coming from Bulgaria with a career record of 20 wins and zero losses, he is tall and is much better boxer than Alex Leapai who Wlad fought couple of months ago. Pulev is IBF mandatory challenger and he has already accepted the fight waiting for Klitschko response.

But its hard to imagine Klitschko agreeing for this fight as Pulev comes from Bulgaria a small country with very small fan base and it will be hard to sell the fight and that is the reason I guess Wlad is looking to get rid of this fight.

Bermane StiverneBermane Stiverne – Unification Bout

What Klitscho wants is a unification bout against Bermane Stiverne but Stiverne has a mandatory challenge for WBC belt in Deontay Wilder.

Previously it was rumoured that Kltischko is looking to fight winner of Stiverne vs Arreola but this fight will be hard to make as Don King promote Stiverne and it will be hard to get the fight signed.

Klitschko fights are always against good fighters and worth watching. He is the best since Rocky Marciano (undefeated). The good and very good fighters of the 70’s and 80’s did not compare to the career record and the talent that Klitschko has faced.
