Netherlands put the worst beating on Spanish football team in the 2014 World Cup Group C match by a 5-1 scoreline which is spain’s worst defeat in world cups since 1950

Spain scored the opening goal of the game through Xabi Alonso, when Diego Costa was tripped in the box nad referee gave away a penalty. Robin Van Persie scored a peach of a goal at the stroke of half time to make it 1-1 before the break. Once Holland took the field in 2nd half, they put massive pressure on spain who crumbled and conceded 4 more goals as Robben and co ran riot.
