Manchester City destroyed the Potters at Etihad Stadium

Kevin De Bruyne could not score any single goal yesterday. But this Belgian midfielder created the goal opportunity one after another. In Premier League, Manchester City destroyed the Potters at Etihad Stadium yesterday night.

At Etihad Stadium, the Citizens won by 7 – 2 goals against the Potters. Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus scored couple of goals among them. David Silva, Sterling, Fernandinho, Sane, Bernardo Silva scored one goal each in the match. With this dominance victory, with 22 points after eight matches playing, the Citizens are in top position on Premier League point table.

At the beginning of the match, in eight minutes, City could score but an easy opportunity was lost by Sane. Kevin De Bruyne made a successful pass into the box but this German winger could not find his mark. His shot went over the crossbar. But after that most of the opportunities were successfully taken by the local team.

In just 17th minutes of the game, the team of Guardiola went ahead. From the right side Kevin De Bruyne passed the ball to Brazilian player Jesus and he did not make any mistake but scored his first goal as well as team’s. In 19th minutes City made the difference double. De Bruyne passed the ball to Sane but he did not take the shot but passed it to Sterling. This English forward also made no mistake.

In 27th minutes of the game, with complete team performance, the amazing 3rd goals were achieved by the City and cornered the Potters. From the left side Sane made a shot but Sterling made no shot but cutback the ball. The skipper Silva touched the ball second times and found the net again.

After three goals of the Citizens, at the end of the first half, Stoke City returned to the match. In 44th minutes of the game Fernandinho came to tackle Diouf but could not and received the first goal. At the beginning of the second half, Diouf scored his second goals by head and Stoke City started to turn back. But the local team could not left the dominance of the match. In 55th minutes City increased the difference from three to four. From the left side again Bruyne touched the ball and Jesus made it to the goal. With his club City, this Brazilian forward scored seven goals in the season of EPL.

In 60th minutes Fernandinho made his first goal and just after two minutes, Sane scored one and kept increasing the goal difference. But by then they secured the match already. Replacing player Bernardo Silva scored the last goal of the team in 79th minutes of the game.
