The biggest stadium in Brazil which is located in Rio De Janeiro called Estadio do Maracana and it will be the host to 7 World Cup matches which includes Round of 16 match, 4 group matches, quarterfinal and the big final on 1 July 2014. When the World Cup 2014 hosting rights were awarded to Brazil, it was clear that the stadium in Rio will host the final and Maracana went into complete overhaul process which started back in 2010 and recently two matches were played with Brazil taking on England and against France for the big friendly matches before maracana hosted Confed Cup finals for the rehersal of FIFA World Cup.

There are couple of ways to reach the stadium, the stadium is located in the eastern side of the city and its just 4.5 KM away from downtown Rio.
It can be reached via Metro or train, if you decide to take a metro you have to take the line 2 from central Rio and it will go straight to the maracana stadium.
