Brazil demolished Chile in last round of WCQ

From the CONMEBOL nation, team Brazil qualified for Russia World Cup 2018 ahead of all the team and in last round of the qualification, they had nothing to lose. But under the guidance of Tite, the fearsome Brazil was desperate to win the match because earlier they made draw in consecutive two matches. So, victory was very important and Brazil demolished Chile in last round of WCQ.

However, Brazil made no score in the first half against Chile in their last match but in second half all the teammates specially Neymar and Jesus brought justice to their name. They scored three goals and brought a remarkable victory over Chile. Chile’s dream to go to World Cup 2018 remained untouched.

In Wednesday morning, the last round of South American qualification staged where in the home ground Brazil beat Chile by 3 – 0. Paulinho took the team ahead by scoring the first goal and later Gabriel Jesus scored consecutive two times.

Brazil started their World Cup qualifying round in 8th October, 2015 and their first match was against Chile. In their inaugural match, they were defeated by 2 – 0. But after that, they faced no defeat. Under the charge of Tite who is the current coach of them, Brazil won consecutive nine matches in World Cup Qualifying and after that two drawn. All total, the five times World Cup winners remained unbeaten in consecutive seventeen matches in this qualification round.

In the 16th minutes of the match, Brazil got a chance to lead the match but Neymar could not net against Bravo who was the Chilean stopper. In 38th minutes, Gabriel Jesus missed another chance. But in the second half, they made two goals within just two minutes and secured the match. In 55th minutes, the shot of Dani Alves was stopped by Bravo but in return ball, Paulinho found his net finally. Before any realisation, Brazil scored one more goals. Neymar took the ball in the box and made a successful pass to the Gabriel Jesus. The Manchester City forward Jesus made no mistake this time but score his first goal.

And the 3rd additional minutes, Jesus made another goal and confirmed their winning against Chile. Desperate Chile received a corner in 92nd minutes. Bravo left his goal post to Brazil and took that chance Willian passed the ball to Jesus.

In other matches of the CONMEBOL, Argentina simply destroyed Ecuador and confirmed their Russia World Cup 2018 ticket. Lionel Messi made an amazing hat trick there. Uruguay won against Bolivia by 4 – 2 and Peru made a draw against Colombia by 1 – 1.
