As we know Froch and George Groves are fighting on the weekend for what will easily the biggest fight in british boxing in last decade. Carl Froch go into the fight defending his IBF/WBA super middleweight title while Groves while Groves is hoping to get a win and move to next level in his carer. Froch vs Groves Purse Split:
According to IBF rules Groves only deserve a tiny 15% of the total fight purse while Champions Froch will take massive 85% of the share. Groves is rated 6th in IBF ranking which made it harder for him to negotiate a bigger chunk of the split.
Update: Groves did appeal against the 85/15 split and asked for a little bigger split of 75/25 but Eddie Hearns, the matchroom promoter did not agree.
