Wladimir Klitschko next fight date confirmed for April 25th 2015 in Brooklyn, New York…..

IBF, IBO, WBA & WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko (63-3, 53 KOs) will be making his return to the ring in April of 2015, against a yet to be determined opponent. “Dr Steelhammer” was last seen in action blasting Kubrat Pulev in Germany, in what was yet another dominant victory for the giant Ukrainian heavyweight.

His opponent for the 25th of April? Either Bryant Jennings, or Klitschko’s new found rival Shannon Briggs. Either would arguably be a rather straight forward fight for the elite Klitschko. As always, the heavyweight division is simply devoid of legitimate challengers for the long-time dominant champion WK.

Briggs is the second option according to Klitschko’s management team, who are hoping to make a deal with 19-0 Bryant first. If that isn’t possible, the 57-6-1 (1 NC) “Cannon” will get the call. Since his early 2014 return, Briggs has blasted some serious bums, making it to 6-0 with five finishes inside the distance this year.
