Do you swear? Yes, or no? Nick Kyrgios gets angry at journalist again

Nick Kyrgios lashed out at a journalist for asking him ‘two terrible questions’ in the pre-tournament press conference of the ongoing Aegon Championships in London. And just a couple of days after, he’s back at it.

The controversial Australian tennis star was involved in a heated exchange with another journalist following his 7-6 6-7 6-3 win over Britain’s Kyle Edmund that saw him enter the quarter-finals of the ATP 500 event.

Kyrgios, who unleashed 32 aces during his victory, let out the f-word after failing to convert his first match point before going on to swear at his player’s box, forcing BBC to apologise twice on air for the foul language.

Kyrgios, though, was unapologetic when asked of his behaviour. In fact, he was in no mood to take any of that.

Journalist 1: There seemed to be quite a bit of interaction towards the end with your box. Was that just a sign of you feeling tight?

Kyrgios: Of course. Great observation by you.

Journalist 2: There was a point earlier in the match when you let out a swear word and then you apologised to the people at the side of the court, but then at the end — well, is that something you would like to keep more under control or does it not bother you?

Kyrgios: Do you swear?

Journalist 2: Well…

Kyrgios: No, do you swear? Yes or no? Yes or no? Do you swear? Do you swear?

Journalist 2: I have been known to.

Kyrgios: Okay, great. Good question.

Journalist 3: How do you feel the BBC had to apologise on air today about your language? How does that make you feel?

Kyrgios: Fine. I don’t care.

Kyrgios is scheduled to meet Feliciano Lopez of Spain on Friday.
