The Indian Wells encounter between Germany’s Alexander Zverev and Joao Sousa of Portugal was briefly interrupted after a butterfly invaded the court on Sunday.

It happened during the 11th game of the second serve, when Zverev spotted a nectar-feeding insect, took it on his racket strings and dropped it safely in the courtside plantation.

The play resumed soon after as Zverev, the No. 4 seed, went on to win the second set. He, however, failed to seize the momentum in the decider, losing 7-5 5-7 6-4.

As for Sousa, he advances to the third round to face Canada’s Milos Raonic.

This is not the first time Zverev has done something on court that has caught the attention of fans.

During a Davis Cup tie last month, he kissed a ballgirl on cheek after she tripped while running.

Zverev certainly knows how to keep his fans entertained!
