The bromance between Andy Murray and Nick Kyrgios was intact even as they squared off against each other in the first round of the Aegon Championships, Queen’s Club, on Tuesday.

Murray, who has won the tournament five times, returned to competitive action after being sidelined for 11 months due to hip injury. And Kyrgios decided to poke some fun at the Brit’s layoff during the coin toss.

“Do you remember how to…?” Kyrgios asked Murray with a chuckle, referring to the coin toss.

The Australian went on to rally from a set down to clinch a 2-6 7-6 7-5 win over Murray, putting the comeback man in doubt for the upcoming Wimbledon Championships.

As for Kyrgios, he is next scheduled to meet another Brit in Kyle Edmund for a place in the quarter-finals.

There have been quite a few instances in the past when the duo has not shied away from pulling each other’s legs on social media.

In one of the recent ones, Murray took a friendly swipe at Kyrgios’ ‘lack of biceps’. They certainly know how to have some fun.
