Daria Gavrilova is known for her on-court outbursts. On Tuesday, however, that almost handed her a disqualification… well, almost!

Playing against American Madison Brengle in the first round of WTA International event in Acapulco, Mexico, the Australian seemed to be struggling early on.

Having lost the first set, the disgust was clearly visible on Gavrilova’s face after being broken back in the second as she threw her racket that almost went on to get in contact with a ball boy.

Fortunately for her, it wasn’t to be, closely avoiding a disqualification.

The incident, somehow, spurred her on as she made a stunning comeback, winning 4-6 6-3 6-3 to set up a second-round clash with either Czech Republic’s Kristyna Pliskova or Mexico’s Zarazua.
