12-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic has said that tennis is no longer his top priority, adding that his family is of the greatest importance to him now.

Djokovic and his wife Jelena welcomed their child Stefan in October 2014. And he stresses that this was the best thing that happened to him, even above the sport.

“My number one priority is no longer tennis since the time Stefan was born,” the 29-year-old told Serbian channel RTS, as quoted by puntodebreak.com.

“Now the situation has changed completely: I have a son, a wife, a family and I feel lucky to be a father. I am trying to be the best husband, the best father and the best tennis player possible,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Djokovic is currently going through a topsy-turvy form that has seen him concede the number one ranking to British rival Andy Murray.
