Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic Bag Top Honors at ATP Awards

Tennis superstars Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer were among those who were honored by the men’s tennis governing body, Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), for their outstanding performances in the recently-concluded calendar season.

While the top-ranked Djokovic was presented with the award for winding up the season on the zenith of rankings, his Swiss counterpart went even a notch ahead by wrapping up two awards: the Stefan Edberg Sportsmanship and the Fans’ Favorite Player award.

Notably, Federer was voted as the winner of Sportsmanship award by his fellow tennis players, crowning him for a fifth consecutive time, and for the 11th time overall. He overpowered the likes of Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer (both Spain) and South Africa’s Kevin Anderson.
