Roger Federer isn’t Normal, He’s a Beast: Pat Cash

17-time Grand Slam champion, Roger Federer, would be habituated to receiving numerous accolades for his incredible success over the years. But this one, coming from a former Wimbledon champion, must be special.

Pat Cash, a former Australian ace tennis pro, heaped praise on Federer’s longevity by juxtapositioning him to fellow tennis superstars Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal, opining that the duo won’t be able to keep on as long as the Swiss maestro.

“Federer is a different beast altogether, I don’t regard him as normal by any means,” Cash wrote for Sport360. “I think Rafa’s body and probably Andy’s as well won’t last as long as Federer. So they’ve got a couple of good years left in them.”

At 34, Federer has been at his usual best even as a Grand Slam has continued to elude him since 2012. With six titles from this season alone, he possesses a decent record of 59-10 in 2015 heading into the year-ending World Tour Finals in London.
