The tennis season may not have started yet. But, Rafael Nadal has already started to add more trophies to his illustrious cabinet.

The Spaniard and his team won the Olazabal & Nadal Invitational – a charity golf event held at the Pula Golf Resort near Mallorca – for the third year in a row after defeating their oppositions, who were led by professional golfer Jose Maria Olazabal.

Puntodebreak reports that Nadal’s team had 175 strokes under par, 35 shots more than Olazabal’s side, who managed 140 shots under par.

According to thethaovanhoa, the contest consisted of two teams, with each having each one professional and three amateur golfers. All the prize money from the event would then be directed to charity funds.

Meanwhile, the 16-time Grand Slam champion will look to start his season on a high when he competes at the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi in last week of December.
