Rafael Nadal Makes Racquet Switch, Again!

Spain’s Rafael Nadal is seen to be out of form these days. Besides being shown the door by top rival Novak Djokovic at Monte Carlo Masters, he also faced a stunning exit from Barcelona Open (l. to Fabio Fognini).

However, the Spaniard has decided to switch back to his old racquet in a quest to regain his

“I’m changing because I’ve been playing for many years with this racquet. I had very little time to play with the other one,” Nadal was quoted as saying by Sport24.

“I know that the other racquet is the right one and I’ll play well with it in the future, but I had just a few days to prepare with that racquet before Monte Carlo.

The Spaniard, who had stopped using his old racquet just before the clay season kicked off, concluded by saying that he will be playing with his old racquet until the end of the season and only use the new one after getting his hand on it in the off season.
