14-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal hopes to sign off the season on a high as he has set his eyes upon making merry in the Asian swing.

Nadal, who last played at the US Open earlier this month, is scheduled to get his campaign underway at the China Open in Beijing next week. He will, then, compete at the Shanghai Masters, followed by the Swiss Indoors in Basel, and ultimately, the Paris Masters.

“Beijing and Shanghai are two tournaments with very good players. Since the first round, you need to be 100 per cent. I wish I could repeat last year’s results,” exuded the Spaniard (via puntodebreak), who made the finals and semi-finals in Beijing and Shanghai respectively.

But, that’s not it. The 30-year-old is keen on reclaiming his lost form in order to make the cut for the year-ending ATP World Tour Finals in London.

“My main goal is to return to the level it had before Roland Garros, which was very good,” he continued, before adding, “It would be great if I could qualify [for ATP Finals].”
