Rafael Nadal’s hair stands on end, quite literally!

The Spanish tennis star could undergo a hair transplant surgery for the second time to mend the hair thinning and bald patches near the central parting and above his head.

“The hair that we are going to transplant it is placed so that it never falls again. Only hair that he still has natural can fall,” medical specialist Javier Mato Ansorena was quoted as saying by bolamarela.pt.

He further revealed that Nadal could avoid surgery by opting for certain medications. The Spaniard, however, is not likely to do so to avoid any health issues.

This is not the first time he’s had to deal with mane problems. Back in November 2016, Nadal had undergone a ten-hour Follicular Unit Extraction procedure to stop hair thinning.

Meanwhile, Nadal, who recently won his 17th Grand Slam title at the French Open, is scheduled to participate at the Aspall Classic at Hurlingham Club before the Wimbledon gets under way on Monday.
