Novak Djokovic has confirmed his participation for Serbia’s Davis Cup tie against Great Britain, as the World No. 1 released his calendar for the rest of the 2016 season.

As per the schedule released on his official website, the 29-year-old will spearhead his country’s challenge in the Davis Cup quarter-final tie that follows the next week’s Wimbledon Championships.

He will, then, move on to Toronto for the Rogers Cup, where he will look to go a step further this time around, having finished as the runner-up to Andy Murray in the last year’s title-clash.

Subsequently, he will represent Serbia at the all-important Olympic Games in Rio de Janerio. Djokovic failed to finish on the podium at London 2012, but has a bronze to his name from Beijing 2008.

His will, thereafter, warm up for the prestigious US Open on the hard courts of Cincinnati (Masters) – the only established tournament that eludes the Serb, despite being a five-time runner-up here.

In the last quarter of the season, Djokovic is slated to partake at the China Open, Shanghai Masters, and BNP Paribas Masters, before entering the ATP World Tour Finals as the two-time defending champion.
