For those who are wanting to see Roger Federer compete at the French Open this season, there’s a good news.

The Swiss maestro has said that it is his ‘big dream’ to win the clay Slam again, having done it once in 2009.

To add to the news, Nike has unveiled Federer’s outfit for the Roland Garros (see below), if he decides to go ahead and participate.

So, Federer will return at the tournament, right? Wrong. Like 2017, he’s focused on winning Wimbledon again even as he doesn’t rule out missing the clay season.

“My big dream is to win Roland Garros again, but I can not hide that I know how hard that will be,” Federer was quoted as saying by

“For now I’m focused on the next tournaments and my main goal in the medium term is the Wimbledon title,” the 20-time Grand Slam champion added.

The 36-year-old, however, is not sure if he will do what he did the last time around – skip the Roland Garros to be afresh for the grass swing.

““It was a very tough decision, but it proved to be correct. Being healthy, at home, training, and having to miss Roland Garros by choice was one of the most difficult decisions of my career,” Federer said.

“What I’m going to do this year is not decided.”
