Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal may be competing for the ‘greatest of all time’ consideration. But for legendary boxer Mike Tyson, there’s only one winner!

Tyson, a former heavyweight world champion, seemed mighty impressed with the fact that Federer, 19-time Grand Slam champion, has been playing the game of his life at the age of 36.

“I have to say something about Federer: he’s great because he still plays at this level at this age,” Tyson told Blick.ch in an exclusive interview.

Referring to Federer’s 21-0 start to the season before his streak was halted with a couple of defeats, the 51-year-old said: “His performance at the beginning of the year was extremely impressive. Unfortunately, he lost two games in Indian Wells and in Miami.

“And now he pauses, he lets the clay season go. A good decision, I think. He can afford it. He is the greatest of all time.”

Furthermore, Tyson, whose 9-year-old daughter Milan recently practiced with 12-time Major winner Novak Djokovic, labelled the Serb as his favourite at the moment.

“But Djokovic is my favourite player at the moment,” he said of the former world No. 1 who recently returned after a long layoff due to an elbow injury.

“If he is fine, I really enjoy watching him. He played some good games in Monaco, he does not look so bad. Good thing is that he has recovered form the elbow injury.”

No mention of Rafa, Mike?
