14-time Grand Slam champion, Rafael Nadal, reflected on his futile outing all through this season as he vowed to incorporate certain amendments in his game and regain the absconding form before long.

The 29-year-old Nadal managed to pull off just three titles (in Buenos Aires, Stuttgart and Hamburg) this year and even failed to defend his record 10th French Open crown this time around.

“During the first six months I was feeling very tired – every time I was playing and practicing,” Nadal told Sky Sports News.

“Being honest with you, I suffered this year – especially for those months,” he continued. “[But] the last couple of months I’m enjoying again and I’m not worried about my tennis level.”

Another Slam on its way?

Albeit the nerves took a toll on Nadal in the majors throughout this year, the Spaniard is determined to revolutionize his game and add on to his Grand Slam tally.

“I have to change, yes. I have to change one very important thing – be the player I was one year ago,” he admitted, before he put forth his sanguinity of another shot at the majors “soon”.
