In the latest ATP rankings released on Monday, Citi Open (Washington) champion Gael Monfils broke back into the Top 15. The Frenchman, who defeated Croatia’s Ivo Karlovic in the title-clash, jumped three positions to No. 14. Karlovic also leapt eight places to No. 27.

Italian Fabio Fognini, who won his first title of the season at the Croatia Open (Umag), also moved up by six places to be ranked 33rd in the list headed by Serbia’s Novak Djokovic.

Fognini’s countryman Paolo Lorenzi bagged his maiden career title at the Generali Open (Kitzbuhel) that saw him rise seven rungs to No. 41. By the virtue of his triumph, the 34-year-old Lorenzi became the oldest first-time winner on the men’s tour.

However, the biggest mover of the week was Robin Haase, who made it to the finals of Swiss Open (Gstaad), which bolstered his ranking by 19 places to No. 76.

The women’s singles rankings, led by American Serena Williams, also saw the last week winners move up the ladder.

Johanna Konta, who clinched her first-ever WTA title in Stanford, rose four placed to No. 14. Washington champion Yanina Wickmayer moved as many spots to climb to 36th position. Bastad champion Laura Siegemund also jumped eight places to No. 32 in the list.
