Canadian tennis star Eugenie Bouchard is still uncertain of partaking at the prestigious Australian Open next season, as she’s still not completely recovered from the concussion that she suffered during the US Open earlier this year.

The 21-year-old had reportedly slipped in the locker room that compelled her withdrawal, and has been dormant on the women’s tour. Her only tournament thereafter came at the China Open, but quit her first-round match midway.

When asked if she’ll be ready for the season-opening Grand Slam next year, Bouchard served up a rather dubious statement.

“I don’t know yet. I don’t want to make any comments or commitments about that,” the 2014 semi-finalist was quoted as per saying by TSN. “I’m just doing my best to try and get healthy and just want to stay positive.”

“I’m really looking forward to being healthy and playing next year. It’s all a process.”
