Dominika Cibulkova could miss out on her scheduled wedding date as she continues her dream run at the ongoing Wimbledon Championships.

The Slovak tennis star played her heart out en route a marathon three-set conquest of World No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska. Cibulkova won 6-3 5-7 9-7 in a grueling three-hour battle to enter just her second quarter-final here since 2011.

Originally scheduled to walk down the aisle with her fiancé Miso Navara in Bratislava come Saturday, the arrangements could be pushed back for a while if she manages to qualify for the semi-finals.

“If we would really have to postpone it, then it will be like dream come true because nothing better could happen to me to me in my tennis career,” the 27-year-old was quoted as saying by The Telegraph.

“It’s no problem to postpone a wedding one week after, and it will be even more enjoyable,” she continued.  “If I would win tomorrow (in the quarters), then we will change it.

“Then we will postpone it because it will be a lot of rush. It’s still really, really far, you know. I want to get a good rest and I just want to play well tomorrow.”

Cibulkova, the No. 19 seed, is scheduled to lock horns with unseeded Russian Elena Vesnina for a place in the last-four stage on Tuesday.
