On Wednesday, Caroline Wozniacki had to take care of more than just her business at the Wuhan Open

Up against reigning Olympic champion Monica Puig, Wozniacki had a tough time adjusting her necklace.

During a changeover, she even got a helping hand in taking it off as the game resumed soon after.

Wozniacki, the No. 2 seed, however, couldn’t really get going as she stumbled to a stunning 6-7 (10) 5-7 defeat to her opponent from Puerto Rico, who came all the way from the qualifiers.

The Dane, who won the Australian Open title this year, committed five double faults and was broken as many times during the gruelling third-round battle that went on for two hours and 24 minutes.

As for Puig, she is next scheduled to square off against local hope Qiang Wang on Thursday.
