If you think Dominic Thiem is good at only tennis, you’re probably wrong.

The Austrian star traded the tennis racket for the smaller version of it as he squared off against his younger brother, Moritz, for a game of ping pong.

Thiem later took to his official Instagram account to share a video of a gruelling rally.

“Happy with my doubles win today, but the day wasn’t perfect as you can see! Credits to @moritzthiem,” wrote Thiem, who had won his first-round doubles match at the ATP 250 Generali Open in Kitzbuehel, Austria, earlier in the day.

In the clip, the duo can be seen making fine use of their two-handed backhands, something which impressed Dominic’s girlfriend Kristina Mladenovic.

“I think they both have interesting technics on the backhand side,” she commented.

However, Thiem’s campaign was cut short in the second round itself as he was handed 6-1 1-6 7-5 defeat by Slovak giant-killer Martin Klizan.

His doubles journey also came to an end after he and his partner Dennis Novak conceded a walkover in their quarter-final match against Jurgen Melzer and Philipp Petzschner on Thursday.
