Former Swiss tennis star Martina Hingis has tied the knot with ex-sports physician Harry Leeman. The couple had been reportedly dating since one year.

Hingis, 37, took to her official Instagram account to make the news public. “Sending greetings from our wedding from Grand Resort Bad Ragaz. Grateful to have our family and friends join us on this wonderful day!” she wrote the caption.

According to WTA, the reception was held at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, a five-star hotel in Switzerland, with 140 guests being a part of the intimate ceremony.

Hingis’ former doubles partner Chan Yung-Jan and former world No. 5 Daniela Hantuchova were among her contemporaries to congratulate her on social media.

“What a gorgeous picture! You both look amazing. Congratulations! Can’t be more happy for you, wish you happily ever after!” Chan was quoted as saying.

Hantuchova commented: “Soooo happy for uuu congratsss.”

Hingis had previously married Thibault Hutin, a French equestrian, in 2010 but the duo parted ways three years after as their relationship turned ugly.

Before retiring at the end of last year, Hingis won five Grand Slam titles in singles and 13 in doubles. Besides, she is also a winner of seven mixed doubles titles at Majors. She also achieved the No. 1 ranking in both the disciplines.
