As much as he’s known for his achievements, Roger Federer is highly regarded for his humbleness. The Swiss maestro demonstrated this trait of his yet again, after he touted his arch-rival Rafael Nadal to be more talented tennis player than him.

Although Federer – a 17-time Grand Slam champion – has comfortably out-achieved his Spanish counterpart, the latter enjoys a better head-to-head record. And the Swiss, thereby, insists that he foresaw Nadal as the future World No. 1 ever since they first met each other.

“I have a lot of talent but not like Tiger Woods, Rafael Nadal and Martina Hingis,” Federer was quoted as saying by Yibada. “It was clear that the Spaniard would become the number one already in very competitive times,” he added.

Meanwhile, Federer will end his two-month injury layoff as he’s scheduled to participate at the next week’s Miami Masters.
