Eagles vs Cardinals Highlights

Coming in off a Week 7 bye, the Philadelphia Eagles traveled into the Phoenix today (Sun., October 26, 2014) to take on the Arizona Cardinals in a battle of 5-1 teams.

The Eagles were looking to keep pace with NFC East frontrunner Dallas Cowboys, and the Cards were looking to hold off NFC West rivals San Francisco and Seattle.

It promised to be a high-scoring affair, but it didn’t really start out that way. Check out full Eagles vs Cardinals highlights below.

Philadelphia scored first on 21-yard touchdown from Nick Foles to Jeremy Maclin (courtesy of Vine):

Arizona put together a scoring drive of their own, tying the game on a 1-yard touchdown by Andre Ellington (Vine):

The Cardinals got the ball at the start of the second half. They capitalized in a big way, scoring on an 80-yrd catch and run by star wideout Larry Fitzgerald to go up 14-7.

The Eagles added a field goal by Cody Parkey, then found themselves in great field position after this punt return by Maclin, who hilariously slid onto the sidelines and destroyed the Gatorade table (Vine):

Maclin then scored with a huge 54-yard touchdown to put the Eagles up 17-14 (Vine):

The Cardinals got an interception and kicked a game-tying field goal in the fourth. But the Eagles took a slim lead with another died goal by Parkey.

However, Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer saved his best work for last, hitting John Brown with this impressive 75-yard touchdown to give Arizona the win by a final score of 24-20 (Vine):
