NFL Week 6 Fantasy Rankings: Tight Ends
The position of tight end has been revolutionized in today’s ever-evolving NFL landscape, as athletes have gone from blocking-focused players who sometimes caught passes to integral parts of their team’s attacks.
That’s created a sort of wide receiver-tight end hybrids that dominate fantasy football. However, injuries have impacted the position heavily as well. The New Orleans Saints’ Jimmy Graham was forced out of last week’s win over Tampa Bay with a shoulder injury. Fortunately for him, the Saints are on a bye this week.
Rob Gronkowski is seemingly healing from the torn ACL that cost him much of last season. He’s our No. 1-ranked tight end heading into New England’s match-up with his hometown Buffalo Bills in Week 6.
Julius Thomas and Martellus Bennett continue to rack up big points, and the Browns’ Jordan Cameron has the chance to put up some decent points coming off of his shoulder injury.
With starter Dennis Pitta out for the season, Baltimore Raven Owen Daniels has a good match-up against the Buccaneers this weekend. Washington starter Jordan Reed is tentatively set to return against Arizona in Week 6, and Patriot Tim Wright made his way to onto the list after playing well in New England’s Week 5 win over Cincinnati.
