Colts vs Texans Highlights

Tonight (Thurs., October 9, 2014) the Indianapolis Colts traveled into Houston’s Reliant Stadium to take on the Texans in a pivotal AFC South match-up.

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck brought a torrid hot streak into the game as he was on pace to set the NFL single season record for most completions.

Against the Texans, Luck was up to his usual tricks. After an early field goal from Adam Vinatieri, he threw this early 54-yard pass to T.Y. Hilton that lead to a 5-yard score from Trent Richardson (courtesy of Vine):

After some more throws to Hilton, Luck found running back Ahmad Bradshaw for a 5-yard score (Vine):

The Colters were up 17-0, and they went up by a lopsided 24-0 with this 4-yard pass from Luck to tight end Coby Fleener (Vine):

The game seemed out of hand, but the Texans eventually got on the board with this insane touchdown catch from veteran wide receiver Andre Johnson (Vine):

Luck threw an interception off a tipped ball, and the Texans cut the Colts’ lead to 24-14 with this impressive run from Arian Foster (Vine):

The Colts added a late first half field goal to go into the break up 27-14. The Texans got within 27-21 with another score from Foster.

But the Colts bounced right back with a 33-yard score from Luck to Hilton that put them up 34-21 (Vine):

Hope was not lost, however, as the Texans scored an amazing touchdown on a fumble return by star defensive end JJ Watt, who broke out with this celebration (Vine):

The Texans made it a game and were threatening to take a late lead, but two fumbles by Johnson and Ryan Fitzpatrick gave the Colts the victory 33-28.
