The St. Louis Rams rolled into Philadelphia to take on the Eagles today (Sun., October 5, 2014) and the game was supposed to be a mismatch on paper. In real life, it didn’t fail to disappoint as Philadelphia took out the frustrations last week’s loss to San Francisco on the Rams.

Let’s break down the Rams vs Eagles highlights. The scoring got started off with an early 10-yard touchdown off a blocked bunt by C. Maragos (courtesy of Vine):

The Eagles added two field goals before the Rams finally scored on this 8-yard touchdown to receiver Brian Quick (Vine):

That was a lone bright spot for the Rams, however, as the Eagles added this 19-yard score from receiver Riley Cooper, his first of the year (Vine):

The Eagles defense added this sack in the third quarter, returning an Austin Davis fumble to score their second touchdown, and the rout was on 27-7 (Vine):

It looked bleak for the Rams, but they stormed back with a 14-yard touchdown run by Benny Cunningham, a 30-yard catch by Kenny Britt, and a 5-yard score by Quick to come narrow the Eagles’ lead 34-28, but they held off the late charge to pick up the win.
