The Chicago Bears rolled into the Meadowlands to take on the New York Jets on Monday Night Football tonight (September 22, 2014).

Chicago was coming in off of a huge comeback victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Week 2, while the Jets lost a shootout to the Green Bay Packers after storming out to an 18 point lead.

The Bears were known for their high-octane offense, but tonight, it was the defense that got the scoring started when Ryan Mundy turned in this 45-yard touchdown (courtesy of Vine):

Quarterback Jay Cutler hit Martellus Bennett for this touchdown in the second quarter, his first of two tonight (Vine):

New York quarterback Geno Smith had some good moments, including this touchdown pass to wide receiver Jeremy Kerley (Vine):

Ultimately, however, the Jets made too many mistakes and couldn’t stop the Bears offense, losing by a final score of 27-19.
