Highlights: Ryan Mathews Scores, Cardinals Come Back In Arizona

The San Diego Chargers rolled into Phoenix to take on the Arizona Cardinals tonight (Mon., September 8, 2014) in the second half of a doubleheader, and the first half wasn’t all that positive from either side.

However, the action picked up in the second half, as Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers finally found wide receiver Malcolm Floyd for the game’s first touchdown early in the third quarter (courtesy of Vine):

The Bolts kept the ball rolling with another score from running back Ryan Mathews on an impressive run (Vine):

The Chargers were up 17-12 and driving in the fourth quarter, but a fumbled snap from Rivers gave the Cardinals another chance to win. They took full advantage, scoring on a fourth quarter touchdown from rookie John Brown to win the game 18-17 (Vine):
