Belgium Match Could be the Last International Match of Ibrahimovic

Ibrahimovic has announced his retirement from international football at the end of European Championship (EURO). In their last group match from ‘E’ Group his team will face Belgium. It could be his last his last international match for Sweden!

Sweden’s quarterfinals is much difficult at now. Because they have one drawn and one defeats in their first 2 group match. Defats with Italy and draw with Ireland. On the other hand they will play this match with World’s second best team currently. Belgium is also the second best team since in last 15 international Appearances.  So there is no alternative to play at the last 16/quarterfinals without a victory.

Sweden is placing at 3rd on Group E table at 2016 EURO’s. On the other hand, Belgium have 3 points from 1 defeats and 1 victory. The victory comes for them against Ireland and defats was against Italy on the first match. Italy already confirmed there last 16 place with one match remaining.

Ibrahimovic said in an interview, “and I am proud of what I’ve achieved and the Swedish flag will always carry with mine.”

The match against Belgium will be the 116th international match. Former PSG, Inter Milan and Barcelona forward scored 62 international goals so far.

After the season of 2015-16 he ended his PSG career of 4 years. And this 34 year old scored league most 38 goals of the season which was also the club record.

But at the EURO mission Swedish star not so far at his own. The first two games did not scored goals.  But at the do or die match he might want to finish well. That is now waiting to see!
