What Jack Wilshere has said of his snub from England’s World Cup squad is EPIC

Jack Wilshere was axed from England’s 23-man squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

But rather than getting bogged down with the disappointment of failing to make the cut, the Arsenal midfielder seems to have taken it the right way.

Posting an old picture of his countryman Joe Hart (who too was ignored by manager Gareth Southgate) telling him something inside a pool, Wilshere wrote: “Don’t listen to them, Jack. We are good footballers.”

He wasn’t done laughing it off though.

“What am I going to do for the next 7 weeks? Might as well enjoy my new gym,” he wrote.

Sharing a snapshot of himself with his son Archie Jack, the 26-year-old added: “He’s gonna see a lot of me this summer.”

Epic, isn’t it?

Meanwhile, the main round matches of the World Cup are scheduled to begin June 14, with England slated to square off against Tunisia on June 18.
