Incessant rains forced Team India to call off their practice session ahead of the second One-Day International (ODI) against Australia at in Kolkata on Wednesday.

Despite that, the hosts made the most of the time off as they showed off their football skills. Along with captain Virat Kohli and veteran MS Dhoni — both of whom are known to be avid football fans — Team India enjoyed a session of footvolley at the Eden Gardens.

Rains had also washed off Tuesday’s practice session. And the dark clouds are expected to hover over the stadium when the two teams meet in the second of the five-match ODI series.

India are 1-0 up in the series, having clinched the rain-curtailed series opener by 26 runs in Chennai.

The second ODI is scheduled to begin at 1:30 PM local time (8 AM GMT) on Thursday.
