Indian cricketer Pragyan Ojha was rushed to a hospital after suffering a head injury during the Duleep Trophy on Wednesday.

Representing India Green against India Blue, Ojha was struck by the awkward movement of a ball while fielding at mid-on as he lay flat before being stretchered off the ground.

The incident jogged everyone’s memory back to the infamous Phillip Hughes incident.

The BCCI, however, tweeted that the 30-year-old left-arm spinner has been doing well and his health is being monitored by doctors.

Ojha went wicket-less in the first-innings but bagged three wickets in the second. His effort, however, was not enough as India Green conceded the match.

Meanwhile, India Blue will now lock horns with India Red in the title-clash that begins September 10.
