Titans beat Warriors by 61 runs

15th season of Ram Slam T20 Challenge is going on which has started in 10th November. Ram Slam T20 Challenge is a South African T20 competition which is currently known as CSA T20 Challenge. In the 5th match of the season of CSA T20 Challenge, Titans beat Warriors by 61 runs so far. The match was hosted in Buffalo Park where Warriors won the toss and opted to field first. In selected 20 overs, Titans scored 172 runs by losing four wickets. In return, Warriors got all out by scoring just 111 runs so far. So, Titans won by 61 runs.

Titans has already played three matches in the season and won all three times and current standing in top position on CSA T20 Challenge point table. On the other hand, Warriors played two matches but lost both two times. Their position is last currently.

Came to the bat by losing the toss, Titans opened their innings with De Kock and Davids. In just two runs Davids was out and in 9 runs, Titans lost their second and most precious wicket De Kock. Later Markram and Elgar made a strong partnership which added more than 60 runs to the scoreboard. Elgar was gone with 34 runs and Markram scored 45 runs highest for the team. Middle orders of Titans played really well where Behardien and Morkel also played well in that day and both finished the selected 20 overs. Finally at the end of the innings, Titans has collected 172 runs when they had still six wickets in hand. Warriors bowlers were not so successful but four bowlers took one wicket each.

However, came to chase 172 runs, Warriors made a good head start. Their openers added 50 runs to the scoreboard. But after the breakthrough of the openers, their rest players could not even stand in front of the Titans bowlers. Opener Cloete scored highest 32 runs for the team. Lower orders tried to added some runs but that was not enough. Finally, they have lost all wickets by scoring 111 runs so far in just 14.2 overs. They had plenty of overs in hand but there was not batsman left to face them.Titans bowlers bowled by maintaining line and length. Ngidi took highest four wickets where Markram took three wickets for the team.
