If you think the no-ball controversy at the Indian Premier League has ended by now, you’re wrong.

Needing 7 runs off the last ball, RCB’s Shivam Dubey couldn’t force a super over after Mumbai Indians’ (MI) Lasith Malinga put one right into the blockhole. Replays, however, showed the bowler had overstepped, a no-ball that umpire S Ravi didn’t signal.

Consequently, RCB captain Virat Kohli and his MI counterpart Rohit Sharma showed their anger at the umpire’s misjudgment during the post-match presentation.

Now, according to a report by Times Now, so furious was Kohli after the match that he barged into match referee’s room and hurled expletives.

The 30-year-old even claimed he doesn’t care being penalized for his behaviour, the report added.

Meanwhile, in what was termed as a contest between the best batsmen (RCB) and best bowlers (MI), RCB fell six runs short to lose their second match in as many fixtures.

After being put to bat first, MI rode on Hardik Pandya’s late exploits to amass 187-8 before AB de Villiers’ unbeaten 70 kept the match in balance until the very end.
