Team Pakistan is currently visiting Scotland. They are scheduled to play a T20I series against Scotland. Pakistan team is continuously on the schedule. earlier, the visited Ireland where they played a Test match series. Later, they visited England and also played a Test series there. Now, they are in Scotland. The T20I series consists of two matches where the first match was already staged. In the match, Pakistan won by 48 runs against Scotland.

Cricket Scotland arranged a venue for the series which is The Grange Club, Edinburgh. In 12th June, 2018 the first match between Pakistan and England took place at the venue in Scotland.

In the match, team Pakistan won the toss and local team Scotland were lost. So, the Green Army decided to bat first. For Scotland, Dylan Budge and Hamza Tahir made the T20I debut. However, Pakistan came to bat and in 20 overs they scored pretty big runs. In exchange for 4 wickets team Pakistan scored 204 runs. Sarfraz Ahmed scored highest 89 runs unbeaten.

The score was big for Scotland to chase. They are lower experienced team in T20I format but they also played well. In 20 overs they scored 156 runs in exchange for six wickets. Michael Leask scored 38 runs in 24 balls.

Team Pakistan is very balanced and fearsome in T20 format. They are standing on the top position considering ICC T20I ranking where Scotland is completely a lower ranked team which are not among the list of top ten. Fakhar Zaman and Ahmed Shehzad started the innings for Pakistan at the beginning. In 33 runs opening partnership was broken. Shehzad was gone with 14 runs. JUst 13 runs later, another opener Fakhar Zaman was gone as well. He scored 21 runs so far. Hussain Talat came later but added another 18 runs. Finally partnership between captain Sarfraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik, they added almost 100 runs jointly. Shoaib Malik scored 53 runs where Sarfraz remained not out with 89 runs so far. Team Pakistan total lost four wickets in 20 overs. Evans took three wickets alone for Scotland in the match.

Opening partnership of Scotland was also good. They added 53 runs where Munsey scored 25 runs and captain Coetzer scored 31 runs so far. MacLeod who made century against England could not stand long in front of Pakistan bowlers. He scored 12 runs only. Their top scorer was Leask who scored 38 runs and remained not out. Scotland lost total six wickets. Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan took two wickets each for the team.
