Pakistan won by 201 runs

Pakistan cricket team has recently finished the Zimbabwe tour where they played five ODI matches against the local team Zimbabwe. They started their ODI series against them in 13th July, 2018 and in the inaugural match, team Pakistan won by 201 runs against the local team. It was a big victory for the Green Army in abroad.

Pakistan started their Zimbabwe tour in July, 2018 and in the same month, their tour ended. ALl the matches took place at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. In the opening match, Asif Ali for Pakistan and Ryan Murray and Liam Roche for Zimbabwe made their ODI debut.

At the home ground in 13th July, 2018 the home team Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to baol first at Bulawayo. So, guest team Pakistan started to bat.

Imam Ul Haq and Fakhar Zaman started to bat in the beginning as openers. They added 113 runs when Fakhar Zaman got out scoring 60 runs. Imam made a century in the opening match. Among rest players, Babar scored 30 runs, Asif Ali scored 46 runs and Shoaib Malik scored 22 runs so far. They played full 50 overs and lost seven wickets so far. However, Pakistan scored 308 runs in the first match against Zimbabwe. For the home team, Chatara and Tiripano took two wickets each so far.

Chari and Chibhabha opened the innings or Zimbabwe. In 3 runs Chari was gone. Usman Khan took the first wicket. Just 8 runs later, 2nd wicket Masakadza was gone as well. He scored 7 runs so far. If we consider their top scorers, opener Chibhabha scored 20 runs, Musakanda scored 21 runs and Murray remained not out with 32 runs highest. Scoring 107 runs team Zimbabwe lost all wickets. They played complete 35 overs in the inaugural match. Shadab Khan took four wickets highest for the team. Usman and Faheem took two wickets each for Pakistan so far. Imam Ul Haq got the player of the match award later.

It seems that Pakistan was going to whitewash the team Zimbabwe at their home venue. They have still four matches in hand and to secure the series, Pakistan has to win two more matches.

However, Pakistan visited their to play a two matches Test series, three ODIs and two T20Is. But later, the schedule was changed and their are playing five matches ODI series.
