Pakistan took on Afghanistan in the 2nd Asia Cup game and on paper it looked like walk in the part but things did not go too well for Pakistan as they batted first and struggled in the early overs but after a decent start to the innings middle order just crumbled and it was 120 for 6, where game looked like going away from pakistan’s hand when Shahid Afridi got out.

Fortunately for Pakistan though Umar Akmal was still there who took the responsibility and started to rebuild in the innings with Anward ali. Akmal played some superb shots all around the pitch and crossed his 19th fifty, but still there was a lot work to be done.

Umar akmal not only completed his century in style with a massive six but also took Pakistan to a very good defendable total of 248, which at once point of the innings looked like a long shot. Afghanistan started the inning with early lose of wicket, but they kept the run chase with slow rate but when it really mattered to accelrate they crumbled and Pakistan got their first win in the Competition.
