Pakistan beat Australia by 45 runs

The end of tri nation series is approaching. Already four matches were finished and in the 5th match of the tournament, Pakistan beat Australia by 45 runs. It was the 2nd meeting between Pakistan and Australia in the tournament where earlier in their first battle, Australia got a dominating victory over Pakistan. Now, the Green Army took the proper revenge on them. So, team Pakistan has finished their group stage and already qualified for the final. They have played four matches and managed three victories so far. On the other hand, Australia played three matches and won twice times. The local team Zimbabwe failed to manage a single victory out there.

Pakistan beat Australia by 45 runs

The tri nation series took place in Zimbabwe where ZC or Zimbabwe Cricket invited Pakistan and Australia to take part in the tournament along with local team Zimbabwe. Earlier, it was about to a dual series between Australia and Zimbabwe but later it was cancelled and tri nation series took place. In 1st July, 2018 the inaugural match of the tournament executed and the 5th match of the tournament took place in 5th July, 2018. All matches were hosted at the same venue named Harare Sports Club.

In 5th T20I, the match between Australia and Pakistan took place where Australia won the toss and let the Shaheens to bat first. Basically from the earlier matches, the toss winning team used to take bowl and they generally won the match. So, Australia came to bowl at the beginning.

Openers Fakhar Zaman and Haris Sohail started to bat but in 8 runs Haris was gone with 0 runs. Fakhar made a partnership with Hussain Talat and jointly they added more than 70 runs. Hussain scored 30 runs. Later, Fakhar made partnership with captain Sarfraz and Shoaib later and he scored highest 73 runs so far. Shoaib Malik scored 27 runs and Asif Ali scored 37 runs. Asif remained not out. At the end of 20 overs team Pakistan scored 194 runs in exchange for seven wickets. Aussie bowlers Tye took three wickets and Richardson took two wickets so far.

Short and FInch made a start for Australia but that did nt end well. Short scored 28 runs and Finch scored 16 runs only. Most of the players failed to add good runs where Carey scored 37 runs highet. They also lost seven wickets and scored 149 runs so far in 20 overs. So, Australia faced their first defeat in the tri nation series against Pakistan.
