in the last match of two match series, New Zealand had created a mountain of runs to chase for Pakistan. It was 369. there aren’t many histories about any team winning by scoring that many runs. most team failed. So did Pakistan. But, they failed terribly this time. They lost the match by a big margin and took their own confidence lower.

They lost the first match as well. this time they lost the match by 119 runs, managing to score only 250 runs from the New Zealand bowlers. However the match wasn’t this match partial.

The Pakistani’s got a flying start and had an opening partnership of 111 runs. But after that, only the captain himself got some runs. All the other batsmen lost their wickets too early in the match without scoring anything major from the bowlers.

Hafeez scored 86 runs while Shehzad scored 55 runs in this match. Without these 3 batsmen, the highest of any batsman in Pakistan innings is 13! So its clear that they were completely shut out by the New Zealand bowlers.

From New Zealand almost all the bowlers were successful. Southee, Milne, Elliot and McCullum took 2 wickets each while Boult and Vettori took 1 wicket each themselves.
