Indian Premier League is considered as one of the most popular and largest league cricket competition based on T20 format. Since 2008, in every calendar year, a new episode of IPL used to be staged. Now, already 10th season of IPL have passed. The ongoing season is the 11th episode of Indian Premier League where Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab are in very charming form. Both teams are holding the place in 2nd and 3rd place considering IPL point table. This two teams have faced against each other in 26th April, 2018. In the match between them, Kings XI Punjab faced defeat against SRH.

However, earlier Sunrisers Hyderabad played total six matches and including the match against KXIP, they have played total seven matches here. Among them, SRH won five times so far. Now, here comes to consider the winning statistics of Kings XI Punjab. They also played seven matches including the last one. They won also five times so far. But analyzing the run rate, SRH went one step ahead of them on point table.

The match between Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad was the 25th match in the ongoing season of IPL. The match took place at the home venue of Sunrisers Hyderabad and the ground was Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. So, as the local team SRH won the match quite easily. Recently the luck was with the team and they are on the way to the title of IPL once again.

Earlier in 26th April, 2018 Kings XI Punjab won the toss and decided to bowl first. Then local team SRH came to bat. Dhawan and Williamson opened the innings for SRH. But failed to make a good start. Top order three players added few runs in the match. Pandey scored 54 runs highest, Shakib scored 28 runs and Pathan scored 21 runs so far. So, at the end of 20 overs SRH scored 132 runs by losing six wickets. Rajpoot took five wickets and played the vital role for KXIP. They tied Sunrisers Hyderabad’s innings so early.

Later, KXIP came to chase 132 runs. They made almost good start with Rahul and Gayle. Openers added 55 runs where Rahul scored highest 32 runs so far. They failed to chase the score but getting all out in 19.2 overs. In 119 runs KXIP ended their innings. Rashid Khan took three wickets where Sandeep, Basil and Shakib took two wickets each.
