India wants victory against England in Chennai Test too

After a long time, team India has won a Test series against England though the series is yet to finish. There is still one match left which will start in next 16th December, 2016. But, Men in Blues have already claimed the series by winning three matches out of four where one match was drawn which was their inaugural Test in this tournament. India has won consecutively three Tests and now looking for the next one. Though, team England are desperate to win upcoming match to avoid shame. But, the match will be hosted at Chennai which would favour India. India last won the Test series against England in 2008. But since then, they played three long format series more excluding this series and every time England won. Last time, they played in 2014 when India visited England but won only one of them out of five matches. This is the first time for Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli to win against England. Kohli already becomes a part of history but now, he wants to win the rest match too. Virat Kohli who is often compared with the greatest batsman Sachin Tendulkar nowadays and he was the prime player to lead his team to victory at Wankhede.

In their last Test at Wankhede Stadium, India won by an innings and 36 runs where Kohli scored a double century and through his individual score, he passed 4000 runs in Test. Besides, he also scored more than 1000 Test runs in a calendar year as one of a few Indian batsman.

Till now, India played against England total 116 long format matches and won only 24 of them where lost in 43 matches. So, Men in Blues wants to reduce their gaps by winning next Test.

Team India is now standing on the top position in Test ranking according to the ICC which was recently updated and England is now second in position. Couple of months ago, India reclaimed their Test throne from Pakistan. At the beginning of the year of 2016, India was on the top position but later, they lost their position but now at the end of the year, they have claimed it again. Now, through every win, they are just strengthen their position.
