India started the ODI series with victory

Finally the most wanted ODI series between England and India started. The host team was England but they failed to start the series as the favourite team. On the other hand, guest team India started the ODI series with victory. Through the victory they are now leading the ODI series by 1 – 0 game. They have still two matches in hand and to secured the ODI series, they just needed to win one more match. Just like T20I series where India won the first one but unfortunately they missed the 2nd T20I but finally they won the series by winning the 3rd T20I against local team England. Now, they are going to win the ODI series considering the same way.

But still, team England is the most balanced ODI team right now and they started the tournament against India at home venue as the favourite. They unfortunately missed the T20I series but this time they are very desperate.

In 12th July, 2018 the first ODI between India and England took place and the home venue was Trent Bridge, Nottingham. Siddarth Kaul made his ODI debut through the match. At the away ground team India won the toss and let England to bat first.

Jason Roy and Bairstow started the ODI innings for England. They added 73 runs jointly where both of them scored 38 runs each respectively. After their departure, next two wickets named Root and captain Morgan were gone so easily and quickly. But later, Stokes and Buttler started to play with carefully and they stood strong. Both of them got half century each where Stokes scored 50 runs and Buttler scored 53 runs so far. Among rest player, Moeen Ali scored 24 runs and Rashid scored 22 runs so far. In 49.5 overs team England lost all wickets and in the meantime they scored 268 runs so far. Kuldeep Yadav took highest six wickets for India and Yadav took two wickets so far.

The score was no good to beat India where team India possessed the most strongest batting line up. Sharma and Dhawan started the chase for India where Dhawan was gone with 40 runs. Virat Kohli and Sharma stood strong where Kohli scored 75 runs so far. Sharma played till the last and made a century there. He scored unbeaten 137 runs and his partner Rahul was unbeaten with 9 runs respectively. In 40.1 overs team India got the victory.
